 According to this letter, an estimated 55,000 schools are being studied in a total of 55000 schools found in primary, secondary and higher secondary government, grant-in-aid and self-reliant schools in the state of Gujarat.  Of those, approximately 500 schools are CBSE.  , ICSE  Or affiliate with other boards.  All schools besides these are affiliated to the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and the Director, Primary Education Office.

 In all these schools, the state government is committed to ensuring that students get the best out of the opportunities arising in the coming time through the best quality education and overcome the challenges to achieve higher studies and career success.  In the coming days, the state government is committed to implement a progressive and futuristic education system in Gujarat and prepare a well-equipped, educated and skilled manpower for New India in the coming days.

 In the last decades Gujarat has been very effective in providing infrastructure, schools recruitment and student nominations in schools.  In the coming days, the work has been taken to improve the quality of education with the same commitment.  There are several important steps taken by the Department of Education to ensure Grade Appropriate Learning Outcomes in every school.  In the next three to four years, the Government has decided to implement some important steps for the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills in all government-subsidized and non-subsidized schools of Gujarat and discussed with all concerned the following are the important matters.  General Chat Chat Lounge

The textbooks have been prepared by the State Government in view of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for academic quality enhancement, in which new textbooks will be equipped with QR codes and will be given Energized Textbooks (ETB).

 In addition, NCERT has been offered in subjects like Mathematics, Science in Classes 9 to 12.  No textbooks have been accepted.

 Also, it is imperative that Higher Order Thinking Skill based exams can be organized so that the children of the state of Gujarat can perform well in the National Means cum Merit Examination (NMMS).


 By making the exam more useful and meaningful, the performance of students in JEE, NEET and other competitive exams will also improve which will benefit all students of Gujarat state.

 In addition, for the PISA (Program for International Students Assessment) in 2024, the state is also willing to participate.  As such, it seems to require a rhetoric of corresponding questions.  A uniform school timetable has been implemented in the state schools for the current academic year.

 Online attendance is being implemented in all schools across the state.  As well as the uniform academic calendar being implemented, the unit test, centralized first and second semester exams are being implemented in the government primary and secondary schools.  All the children of the state can study in a consistent manner, the children are constantly and universally evaluated, and all the government, grant-in-aid and self-help elementary schools as well as secondary and secondary schools are in place to develop the Higher Order Thinking Skill.  Government, grant-in-aid and self-employed secondary and higher secondary affiliate affiliated with the Higher Secondary Education Board.  Discussion consultations have been held to promote academic quality with all relevant stake holders ie teachers unions, self-reliant school governing bodies and academics for the purpose.

 The above matters were under the consideration of the State Government.  At the end of the adult consideration by the State Government, it is decided to take the following steps.

 New Resolution: At the end of active consideration, a uniform unit test for all government, grant-in-aid and self-reliant primary schools, as well as government, grant-in-aid and self-reliant secondary and higher secondary schools, with involvement of secondary and higher secondary education boards.  ) And to decide on implementing both the first and second semester assessments from the academic year 2020-21.  Was before.

 Detailed instructions are given in this regard.

 1. According to the conditions of the existing school accreditation, the teaching and teaching should be done on the basis of the textbook published by the Gujarat State School Textbook Board, prepared on the basis of Learning Outcomes in all Government-subsidized and non-subsidized Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of the State.  Textbooks of any private publication cannot be used in school.  Reference material may be used if required, but students may not be compelled to purchase or use it.  It will have to be strictly implemented in all schools of that condition from the academic year 2020 - 21.

 2. Gujarat State School Text Book Board provides free text books to all government and aided schools without any cost.  Textbooks will be made available to schools before the new semester begins in the academic year 2020 - 21 April.  These textbooks will also be made available to all non-subsidized schools at fixed rates within the month of April.

 3. On the basis of the textbooks published by the Gujarat State School Textbook Board, the unit test will be conducted as well as the first and second semester tests.

 4. For the primary schools, the unit tests for the state level and the first and second semester test papers will be prepared. The necessary instructions regarding conducting the examination will be provided through the Gujarat Educational Research and Training Council (GCERT), Gandhinagar, which the schools will follow.  In addition, the unit test at the district level as well as the first and second semester tests will have to be handled by the District Primary Education Officer / Government Officer.

 5. The unit test for standard 9 and 11 of the secondary and higher secondary schools, as well as the first and second semester test question papers, and instructions regarding conducting the examination will be made through the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (GSHSEB).  Which must be followed by the schools.

 It will be the responsibility of administering unit tests for the secondary and higher secondary schools at the district level and for conducting the first and second semester tests for standard 9 and 11.  The above shall apply to the unit test of standard 10 and 12 and to the first examination and preliminary examination accordingly.

 6. Examination of the unit test as well as first and second semester non-Gujarati mediums such as English, Hindi and other regional language medium will also be prepared by GCERT and GSHSEB.

 7. Throughout the operation a TASK FORCE will be formed comprising the officers of all affiliated offices and representatives of the self-reliant school governing body.  The TASK FORCE will have to be consulted for the smooth running of this new experiment and for the practical problems that may arise during its planning and implementation in the future.

 8. Similar question papers will be given from state level to standard 10 in Gujarati, mathematics, science and social sciences.  Whereas standard 11 and 12 - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for the science stream, English will be given the same question papers of the basics of commerce, business management, psychology, economics and statistics.

 9. For this function, the officer who is not descended from the education service class - at the district level will have to be entrusted with the responsibility of exam nodal officer.

 10. The responsibility of delivering the first and second semester test question papers for all primary schools in the district through the District Education Committee / District Panchayat to the school will be the responsibility of the District Primary Education Officer / Government Officer, Nagar Primary Education Committee.  Question papers for non-government aided and non-subsidized primary schools which have to be provided by the District Primary Education Officer to that institution.  The expenses incurred on this will be paid by the institution.

 11. The District Education Officer shall be responsible for printing the first and second semester test papers for all secondary and upper secondary schools in the district and delivering them to the school.  Question papers for non-governmental (aided and non-subsidized) secondary and higher secondary schools which will have to be provided by the District Education Officer to that institution.  The expenses incurred on this will be paid by the institution.

 12. The unit test has to be evaluated at the school level.  Whereas, for the first and second semester tests of the schools, the third party verification of the respondents has to be done by randomly distributing the respondents in the schools of that cluster.  Detailed instructions regarding that will be left in consultation with TASK FORCE in the absence of any disruption in view of the practical problems.

 13. Students from all schools in the state will have to upload the marks obtained in the unit test and first and second semester exams on the web portal prepared by the entire Education Campaign (SSA).

 14. The details of the unit test as well as the planning for the first and second semester exams will be included in the academic calendar prepared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and the school textbook board.

 15. With regard to ensuring quality for the non-governmental (aided and non-subsidized) schools of the state, the following assistance will be provided by GCERT and Diet.

 A. GCERT at the state level and Diet at the district level will be guided and assisted in conducting in-service training of teachers for the non-government aided and non-subsidized schools of the state.  Apart from this, arrangements for training of all these teachers in the form of self-study for professional development will also be provided.

 B. The private schools of the State as well as the Diet will also be able to utilize each other's physical facilities with mutual understanding as needed.

 C. In addition, GCERT will receive support for conducting Foundational Learning as well as Pragmatic Approach / Activity Based Learning in non-subsidized primary schools.

 The use of the DIKSHA Platform will assist in providing opportunities for mutual exchange of best practices of government and non-government school teachers for the professional development of private school teachers.
