INTRODUCTION: The new augmented pension scheme has been implemented by the State Government under resolution no. Every case in which deduction has been made from the salary of the employees from the report of the number taken (3) and the letter of the number (4) taken from the reading. But if for some reason it is not sent to the NPS Trust or is sent late, the interest rate was fixed for the period from the date of deduction on the amount of such legacy fund to the date of deposit in the employee's NPS account.
No. (5) taken from the reading, it has been decided to pay interest at the rate of interest paid on the deposit balance of GPF on the amount of legacy fund in such cases from the notification of the Government of India. In the present case, the matter of revising the interest rate on the amount of legacy fund of NPS account holders of the State was under active consideration of the Government.
Resolution: At the end of the adult deliberation, it is decided that interest will have to be paid on the amount of legacy fund for the current financial year as well as for the next period at the rate shown in the table below.

Period Interest rate to be paid on outstanding league amount to be deposited in NPs Trust of the employee from 01/04/2021 to 31/03/2021 at the rate of GPF up to 7.1%
For the current financial year 2020-21 from 01/04/2021 onwards will be at the rate of future GPF.
