Regarding the implementation of Vidyadan project, the Ministry of Education, New Delhi has introduced One Nation, One Platform, in which it is recommended to use DIKSHA Platform. In addition, it is suggested to use vidyadaan platform to get quality e-material from various experts on the subject from the field.
In this regard, GCERT has started DIKSHA zidold ETB (Energized Textbooks) du TPD (Teacher Professional Development Courses). For this, it seems necessary to attach e-material regarding the QR Code placed in the textbooks of that subject.
It is possible to get the available material in the field, review it and use it before preparing the e-material regarding that subject. Hence, vidyadaan platform can be useful for ordering e-material from subject matter experts in the field.
For this, the information regarding joining as an individual contributor on the Vidyadan platform is given in the enclosure letter.
Therefore, all government, grant aided as well as private) primary school teachers in your district are requested to reach out to the institutions as well as to encourage them to donate e-material or e-content regarding the relevant standard and subject.
What is Vidyadan Project ?
Any person or organization can donate their own content in the Vidyadan project. Teachers of your district, S.R.G. , B.R.C. , C.R.C. Educational literature created by anyone can be donated to the Vidyadan Project in the form of e-content.
Content that will be approved will be placed in the textbook under DIKSHA project or used in educational work.
How to register as an "Individual Contributor" on Vidyadan?
1. https://vdn.diksha.gov.in/gi/contribute
2. Log in using your DIKSHA ID and password or log in using your Gmail ID and password by clicking on "Sign In with Google".
3. After successfully logging in, a dialog box "Enroll as Contributor" will appear. Select "Individual" and click Submit.
4. Under the "All Projects" tab, all ongoing projects will be available. Select the project you want to contribute to and click "Open".
5. Click on “Select Content Types”. Select the content type you want to contribute and click Submit. .
6. All the textbooks for the given project will appear. Select all the textbooks for which you want to contribute.
7. Click on “Nominate”. A dialog box appears in which click on “Submit”.
8. Once your nomination is accepted by the sourcing organization, you can start contributing to the projects.
