Letter of SSA regarding distribution of literature prepared by GCERT for Std. 1 to 8 from district level to all government primary school students. Date - 21/05/2020.
Considering the situation of Kovid-19 in the state, GCERT is preparing Std. 1 to 8 literature as per NCERT guideline to start Alternative Learning for students during the new academic session starting from June 2020. The literature prepared by GCERT is required to be distributed in hardcopy form to all government primary school students in the state.
The said literature will be sent in softcopy by GCERT to the District SSA Office through Diet. The District SSA Office is asked to print the said literature according to the rate contact and financial rules of its District Panchayat / Corporation according to the number of standard students in all the government schools in the district.
In view of the situation of Covid-19, if the vacation in schools is extended, the literature prepared by GCERT will have to reach the school level by 08/06/2020 so that the students do not stop studying. The literature will be distributed to the students as well as the details related to their use will be informed by GCERT and they will have to abide by it.
The District SSA office will have to bear the cost of printing the literature under the District Management Head.
