Date: - 13-11-2020: In order to meet the expenses incurred by the government employees during the festival, to increase the purchases by the employees and to boost the economic activities in the state, the matter of announcing a special festival package for the employees of the state government was under consideration.
Resolution: At the end of the adult deliberation, by the Government, Dt. It is decided to provide special festival package for the regularly appointed employees / officers of the State Government for the important festivals coming up till 31-03-2021.
1. Under the special festival package Rs. 10,000 / - interest free deposit will be given. Which will be given in the form of a pre-loaded Rupay card. The validity of this card is Dt. Will remain until 31-03-2021. Until then, digital transactions can be made using this card. After processing the application of the employee / officer for taking deposit under this special festival package, the concerned withdrawal and distribution officer will have to get the card from the bank and give it to the employee.
2. Employees / officers on duty or on leave may be granted advance under special festival package. The work for advance has to be done from the salary in a maximum of 10 installments from the month following the month in which the employee / officer is assigned.
3. The benefit of this resolution will be given to the employees / officers of the State Government, Panchayats and organizations receiving 100% subsidy of salary allowance. This resolution shall be implemented from the date of publication of the resolution and the resolution shall be in force only for the financial year 2020-21. Circular: The following instructions should be circulated for the procedure to be followed for obtaining pre-loaded Rupay card of Rs.10,000 / - under the special festival package announced by the Government for the employees / officers of the State Government on 13-11-2020. Is.
1. The employee has to apply in the prescribed form to the establishment branch of the office along with full name, mobile number and e-mail address details to get the deposit under the special festival package.
2. The head of the establishment will send the details of the approved applications to the withdrawal and distribution officer.
3. The withdrawal and distribution officer will coordinate and send the details of the approved applications to the SBI and provide the details of the SBI branch for obtaining the card.
4. Upon receipt of the card at the concerned branch of SBI, it will be reported to the withdrawal and distribution officer and the amount to be paid according to the number of cards. Will also tell the details.
5. According to the number of cards, Rs. 10,000 + Rs. 177 (Rs. 150 of card processing charge + Rs. 27 of GST charge) has to be paid to the bank by check.
6. The withdrawal and distribution officer will have to maintain the security standards of the card obtained from the bank and distribute it to the concerned employees / officers.
7. The maximum amount of advance in 10 installments from the month following the month in which the card is handed over to the employee / officer is Rs. 10000 / - will have to be recovered from the salary.
8. Charges for getting the card are Rs. 177 / - (including GST) will not have to be recovered from the concerned employee / officer. These expenses will be borne by the Government of Gujarat. By order of the Governor of Gujarat and in his name,
