As per the instructions of the Election Commission, in order to celebrate the National Voters' Day-2021, emphasis has been laid on the dissemination of various technological initiatives implemented by the Commission to provide various services to the voters during the elections, especially during the Koro epidemic.  For this, the Election Commission has suggested the following various activities in the state in addition to the activities undertaken in the past under normal circumstances in connection with the celebration of National Voters' Day.

According to a letter from the General Administration Department, the day of establishment of the Election Commission, New Delhi has been declared by the Central Government as “National Voter's Day”.  National Voters' Day-2 is to be celebrated in 2020. The Electoral Literacy for st  ronger Democracy "theme has been rejected.

 As part of the celebration, the Election Commission of India has issued a pledge.  All those present at the National Voters' Day celebrations have to read and swear to the masses.  Ta.  On 25/01/2020, all the educational institutions of the state are asked to make arrangements for the pledge to be read.  As part of this celebration students and teachers should take this pledge and give an understanding of the pledge.  An English and Gujarati copy of the affidavit is included with this.  And the affidavit is stated to be permanently on the public notice board in all schools.  Ta.  Students are asked to take this pledge at 11:00 am on 25/01/2020.

 All the elementary schools under your authority are advised to give the necessary instruction in this regard, in view of the letter from the General Administration Department.

VOTERS PLEDGE 
We, the citizens of India, have an abiding faith in democracy, uphold the pledge of democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations.  religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement.

 The Election Commission, New Delhi, has been declared as "National Voter's Day" by the Central Government.  This day is celebrated every year from January 7 to the state level to the polling station.  Accordingly, National Voters' Day - 2020 is celebrated.  Held on 25/01/2020.  With regard to the upcoming National Voters Day, the Election Commission has fixed the theme "Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democrocy." As part of the celebration, the Election Commission of India has issued a pledge that all persons present at the celebration of National Voters' Day have to read the pledge in mass.

 Next National Voters' Day is celebrated.  Held on 25/01/2020.  According to the suggestion of the Election Commission, New Delhi, all the educational institutions of the state have to make arrangements to read this pledge as it is made on: 25/01/2020.  As part of this celebration, students will have to plan accordingly as teachers / professors are given an understanding of this pledge and accordingly the pledge is taken accordingly.  An English and Gujarati copy of the affidavit is also included, which is circulated in all the schools, dated: 25/01/2020 at 11:00 am.
