Guidelines have been issued by the Government of India under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 for the control of Kovid-19 in the country following the lockdown measures in the country, which were closed.
It is suggested that schools and coaching institutes be reopened after October 15, 2020 in the activities allowed outside the containment zone. For which the State / UT Government in consultation with the concerned school / institution administrators, based on the assessment of the situation and decided to start the schools from the rank (2) but due to the transition situation of Koro to start the schools with the resolution (3). The decision was postponed.
Then on 06/01/2021. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, the matter of resumption of direct education work in Std-10 and Std-12 classes was under consideration of the Government.
Resolution:
At the end of the adult consideration, it is decided to resume the direct education work from 11/01/2021 for the classes of Std-10 and Std-12 in the secondary and higher secondary schools of all the boards in the state. Educational non-academic staff and students of government / private secondary and higher secondary schools of all the boards in the state will have to strictly follow the following instructions.
(1) From 11/01/2021, offline (physically) educational work will be resumed for the students of Std-10 and Std-12 in the secondary and higher secondary schools of all the Boards of the State. It will be voluntary for the student to attend the academic work offline (physically) and for that the concerned institution will have to get the written consent form from the parents of the student in the attached form.
For those students who do not join the class, ONLINE study will have to be arranged by the schools as well as Vande Gujarat Channel and Doordarshan D.D. Students should be encouraged to watch educational programs broadcast from Girnar.
(2) Only students of Std-10 and Std-12 shall be called by the school.
(3) The schools shall arrange the number of classes keeping in view the number of students and the need as well as the complexity of the subject. In order to maintain the social distance between the two students as per the SOP / guidelines of the Government of India, seating arrangements have to be made.
In addition, the school principal will be able to decide what kind of arrangements should be made for which subject / curriculum.
(4) Face masks will be mandatory for students, teachers as well as all other employees. And through continuous monitoring, the concerned authorities should take care that no infected / symptomatic student / teacher enters the school premises.
(5) No student or staff member who lives in the Contentment Zone or is infected with Corona in the family may be present at the school. The school cannot be opened if there is a school in the content zone area.
(6) Proceedings regarding capacity building of all concerned such as principals, teachers, parents, students, SMC members etc. as mentioned in the SOP issued by the Government of India Gujarat Educational Research and Training Council (GCERT) and District Education and Training Bhavan (DIET) That has to be done.
(7) All these proceedings shall be carried out following the guidelines of SOP / Guidelines issued by the Government of India. (Available online at www.education.gov.in.) All the above guidelines have to be followed by the concerned district administration and the school principal / principal in the interest of the students considering the local situation.
