Circular of Primary Education Department mandated to impose mandatory CCTV in all schools

The Education Department has issued circular on strict implementation of CCTV after complaints of non-CCTV cameras being found in some state-owned and private schools in the state. It has been clarified that all the schools in the year 2019-20 will have to compulsorily set up CCTV cameras. Not only that, all the schools will have to report CCTV cameras to the Education Department in 15 days. The Directorate of Primary Education of the state has ordered 

All primary schools and CCTV cameras will be set up in primary schools of all boards like Gujarat Board, CBSE board, ICSE board, IB board, Cabin International Board. All this should be done accordingly to the completion of the academic year 2019-20. Details of which will be sent to the education department in 15 days. The first CCTV camera is checked when there is a disaster in schools. In many cases, CCTV cameras are not there, or even the complaints of the boy being in closed condition.
