સાર્વભોમ, સમાજવાદી, બિનસાંપ્રદાયિક, લોકતાંત્રિક અને પ્રજાસત્તાક ભારતનું બંધારણ 26 મી જાન્યુઆરી 1950 ના દિવસે અમલમાં આવ્યું હતું. આ પ્રસંગે રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ દર વર્ષે રાષ્ટ્રપતિ દ્વારા દિલ્હીના ‘રાજપથ‘ ખાતે લહેરાવવામાં આવે છે. અને પછી રાષ્ટ્રગાન શરુ કરવામાં આવે છે. આ પ્રસંગ બહુ જ ભવ્ય હોય છે કે જેમાં આપણા લશ્કરની ત્રણે પાંખો લશ્કરી વાહનો સાથે ‘રાજપથ’ પર પરેડ કરે છે.

એ જ રીતે 26મી જાન્યુઆરી 1950 ના રોજ ભારત, ભારતનું બંધારણ, તેની સરકાર, રાષ્ટ્રપતિ અને રાષ્ટ્રધ્વજ સાથે વિશ્વનું સૌથી મોટું પ્રજાસત્તાક રાષ્ટ્ર બન્યું.

આપણો દેશ ભારત 15 ઓગસ્ટ 1947 ના દિવસે આઝાદ થયો ત્યારબાદ આપણા દેશ માટે બંધારણ ઘડવા માટે બંધારણ સભાની રચના કરવામાં આવી. અને આ બંધારણ સભાએ 2 વર્ષ 11 મહિના અને 18 દિવસે આપણા બંધારણ ની રચના કરી જેને 26 નવેમ્બર 1949 ના દિવસે બંધારણ સભાના 284 સભ્યોએ તેના પર સહી કરી સ્વીકાર્યું. આ જ બંધારણને આપણે 26 જાન્યુઆરી 1950 ના દિવસે અમલમાં મૂક્યું તેથી આપણે આ અમલની તારીખને પ્રજાસતાક અથવા ગણતંત્ર દિવસ તરીકે ઉજવીયે છીએ.

75મો પ્રજાસત્તાક દિન 26 મી જાન્યુઆરી 2024

26મી જાન્યુઆરી ના દિવસે એટલે કે પ્રજાસત્તાક (ગણતંત્ર) ના દિવસે આપણા આખા દેશમાં સરકારી કચેરીઓ અને શાળાઓમાં ધ્વજવંદન કરવામાં આવે છે. અને રાષ્ટ્રઘ્વજને સલામી આપવાની સાથે-સાથે આપણું રાષ્ટ્રગાન “જન ગણ મન” પણ ગવાય છે.

દિલ્હીમાં, લશ્કરની ત્રણે પાંખો લશ્કરી વાહનો સાથે પરેડ કરે છે અને રાષ્ટપતિ તેમની સલામી ઝીલે છે. તેની સાથે જુદા-જુદા રાજ્યોના વિકાસ, સમૃદ્ધિ અને સંસ્કૃતિની ઝાંખીઓ બતાવતા રથો નીકળે છે. આ પ્રસંગને રેડીઓ અને TV પર દેશભરમાં દૂરદર્શન ચેનલ પર સવારે 8 વાગ્યે બતાવવામાં આવે છે. જેને જોવા માટે લોકો આતુરતાથી સવારમાં TV કે રેડીયો પાસે સજ્જ થઇ જતા હોય છે.

જે રીતે દિલ્લી, દેશની રાજધાની માં પ્રજાસત્તાક દિવસે આ ભવ્ય આયોજન થાય છે. તેવી જ રીતે રાજ્યોના પાટનગરમાં પણ આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે. પ્રજાસત્તાકના દિવસે જેમ કેન્દ્રમાં રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ધ્વજારોહણ કરે તેવી જ રીતે રાજ્યોમાં રાજ્યપાલ ધ્વજારોહણ કરે છે.

શાળા અને કોલેજોમાં વહેલી સવારમાં જ પ્રજાસત્તાક દિન નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવતું હોય છે. આ એક દિવસ ના આયોજન માટે શિક્ષકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓ મહિના પહેલાથી તૈયારી શરુ કરી દેતા હોય છે.

ભાષણની શરૂઆતમાં સૌ પ્રથમ સૌને નમસ્કાર, ત્યારબાદ કાર્યક્રમમાં ઉપસ્થિત તમામ મહેમાનોનો આભાર માનો. પછી બોલવાનું શરૂ કરો. આપણે બધા આજે આપણા દેશના 73મા પ્રજાસત્તાક દિવસની ઉજવણી કરવા માટે અહીં એકઠા થયા છીએ. ગણતંત્ર દિવસ પર ભાષણ આપવા બદલ હુ ખુદને સન્માનિત અનુભવી રહ્યો/રહી છુ. આપણા દેશમાં ગણતંત્ર દિવસ દર વર્ષે 26 જાન્યુઆરીએ ખૂબ જ આનંદ અને ગર્વ સાથે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. આજના જ દિવસે 1950માં આ દિવસે ભારતીય બંધારણ લાગૂ વ્યું હતું. આપણે સૌ જાણીએ છીએ કે ભારતને 15મી ઓગસ્ટ 1947ના રોજ આઝાદી મળી હતી, પરંતુ દેશ પાસે પોતાનું કોઈ બંધારણ નહોતું. આ દિવસે એટલે કે 26 જાન્યુઆરી 1950 ના રોજ, આપણા દેશનું બંધારણ અમલમાં આવ્યું, જે બાબાસાહેબ ડૉ. ભીમરાવ આંબેડકરે બનાવ્યું હતું.

આજે આ બંધારણના કારણે આપણો દેશ સંપૂર્ણ પ્રજાસત્તાક છે. આ દિવસે, સૌ પ્રથમ, ભારતના પ્રધાનમંત્રી અને રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ઇન્ડિયા ગેટ સ્થિત અમર જવાન જ્યોતિ જે હવે અમર જવાન જ્યોતિમાં વિલીન છે તેના પર દેશના શહીદોને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપે છે. લોકશાહી દેશમાં રહેવું એ આપણા બધા માટે ગર્વની વાત છે. હું મારા ભાષણનો અંત એમ કહીને કરવા માંગુ છું કે એક સાચા દેશભક્તની જેમ દેશને વધુ સારી જગ્યા બનાવવામાં યોગદાન આપતા રહો. આભાર! જય હિન્દ.

આપણા સ્વતંત્રતા સંગ્રામના ઇતિહાસમાં 26મી જાન્યુઆરીનું પોતાનું જ એક વિશેષ મહત્વ છે. 1930 માં રાવી નદીના કિનારે કોંગ્રેશના લાહોર અધિવેશનમાં ‘પંડિત જવાહરલાલ નહેરુ‘ દ્વારા આ દિવસે એક પ્રતિજ્ઞા લેવામાં આવી હતી. કે “જ્યાં સુધી ભારતના લોકોને આઝાદી નહિ મળે ત્યાં સુધી આ સ્વતંત્રતાની ચળવળ ચાલુ રહેશે“. આ બધા સંઘર્ષો સાથે અનેક મહાન નાયકોએ સવતંત્રતા પ્રાપ્તિ માટે પોતાનું બલિદાન આપવું પડ્યું હતું. તેમનું બલિદાન આજે પણ ભારતના નાગરિકો ભૂલી શક્યા નથી.
