National Family Assistance Scheme (Sankat Mochan Yojana)
Under this scheme, if a family member dies due to a minor natural cause or accident, his family will get central assistance.
In case of death in natural conditions Rs. 50,000 / -
In case of accidental death Rs. 50,000 / -
According to the program, the government has made arrangements to provide maximum cash assistance to the family in case of any mishap.
Earlier, under this scheme, Rs. 10,000 / - was given. 50OO R / Add - Done.
Rules:
- In the event of such death, the main beneficiary (s) must be over 18 years of age - under 30 years of age.
- The application must be submitted within a period of two years after death.
- To be eligible for assistance under this scheme, the applicants have to apply for BPL as per the recommendations of the Government of India. Must take advantage of the benefits.
- If the applicant lives in a rural area, he or she must register as a BPL beneficiary at the Gram Panchayat, Baldia, or City Hall or Corporation Office.
- A copy of the posthumous report, a police complaint, the person involved in the accident must be attached to the application form.
- As the head of the deceased family, only one person should apply as an applicant.
- All family members must give their consent.
- This assistance is not available to each family member individually.
- The family definition for this scheme includes spouse, minor children, unmarried daughters, dependent parents.
Where to apply?
For urban areas: Apply at the county state office.
Gram Panchayat area. The application under this scheme has to be submitted to the Regional Development Officer.
For Community Corporation Area: Commissioner UCD at City Corporation Office. You must apply at the branch. The aforesaid officer has the right to approve the assistance provided under this scheme, the form application form will also be available from his office.

Benefit in This scheme : In view of the scheme, provision has been made to provide more cash assistance to the family in case of any calamity. Earlier, under this scheme, Rs. 10,000 / - was given. By increasing the amount to Rs. 20,000 / - has been paid.

The application has to be made in the prescribed form within the limit of two years after death. To be eligible for assistance under this scheme, the applicant beneficiary must be a BPL beneficiary as per the guidelines of the Government of India. If the applicant lives in a rural area, he should be registered as a BPL beneficiary in the village panchayat, in the municipality or in the municipal area, in the office of the municipality or corporation.
