Gujarat College / University Exam Timetable 2020 : A lockdown has been declared in the country to control the epidemic of COVID-19, to conduct examinations for state colleges / universities, to start the admission process for the next academic year and to start academic work to control the epidemic of COVID-19.  From time to time guidelines have been issued by the Government of India and the State Government to prevent the transmission of Corona virus.  In view of the epidemic of COVID-19, guidelines have been circulated from the letter dated 29/04/2020 from U.G.C regarding college / university examinations as well as admission process and commencement of academic work for the next academic year.

 Considering all these facts, the matter of organizing examinations for colleges / universities of Gujarat state and starting the admission process and academic work for the next academic year 2020-21 was under consideration of the Government.

 At the end of careful consideration, the following instructions are decided to organize the examinations for the state college / university and to start the admission process and academic work for the next academic year 2020-21.

 EXAMINATION
 Terminal / Final Semester / Year Examinations on UG Courses / Programs as per UGC guidelines  Must be taken from 25/06/2020 as well as the first year of P.G courses / programs and terminal / final semester / year examinations should be taken from 25/06/2020.

Guidelines for the use of masks, social distants and sanitizers must be strictly followed during these examinations.  The duration of the examination should be two hours instead of three hours.  And will have to take the exam in multiple shifts if required.

 Examination centers should be set up at taluka level / local level for conducting the examination.  In case the epidemic situation of COVIP-19 is not normal and the guidelines of social distance cannot be followed, 50% marks will be given to the students of Intermediate Semester 2,4,6 on the basis of internal assessment and the remaining 50% marks will be given immediately on the basis of previous semester.  .

 This scheme will be named Merit Based Progression.  In addition, it can be evaluated as per the guidelines of UGC.  For example, in case the student has got 20 marks out of 30 marks of internal assessment in the university and immediately the student has got 70 marks out of 100 marks in the university examination of the previous semester, the marks will have to be calculated as follows.  If the practical examination is not taken then its marks will also have to be calculated as shown above.  If a practical test has been taken then the actual marks obtained in that test should be taken into consideration.

  As per the resolution of the General Administration Department, in case of tragic demise of an infected employee / officer during the duties performed as part of essential service in the circumstances arising due to transmission of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) in the State, his dependent family has to pay Rs.  Pursuant to the provision of assistance of Rs. 25 (twenty five) lakh to the dependent family of the late Shri Mohammadyasin Mahmud Hussain Sheikh for sanctioning the amount of assistance as per this resolution, the Department of Primary Education submitted a reference letter to this department.  .  According to the above mentioned proposal of the Office of the Director of Primary Education, in consultation with the Finance Department, the late Shri Mohammad Yasin Mahmud Hussain Sheikh, Headmaster, Shahpur Urdu School no.  5, Shahpur, Ahmedabad to a dependent family of Rs.  It is therefore permitted to pay assistance of Rs. 25 (twenty five) lakhs.

Manav Garima Yojana Gujarat 2020 Online Application Form: Government scheme to provide improved tools and equipment to the backward tribes to better follow traditional and other occupations. Whose name is "Manav Garima Yojana". Financial assistance is provided under this scheme for people belonging to Scheduled Castes to start self-employment.

Launch of Manav Garima scheme
The scheme was launched by the Government of India in 2012 as a scheme for self-employment of tribal people. Minor changes were also made from time to time. Financial assistance is given to start small business, employment, industry. From which such poor people are able to earn a living. And they can become financially viable.
The major advantage of the scheme is that no bank interest based loan is given for this scheme. The benefit of this scheme is given directly to the applicant in his account. For this the applicant has to apply only with the required supporting evidence.

Announcement of the scheme
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced 'Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana' for financial assistance to small shopkeepers and self-employed people of Gujarat.  Beneficiaries under this scheme will be given 1 lakh loan at 2% annual interest rate without guarantee.  The remaining interest will be paid by the state government to the banks.  The special feature of this scheme is that no installment or interest will be required to be paid to the beneficiaries in the first six months.  It is estimated that more than 10 lakh people will get the benefit of this scheme loan.  Rs.  Five to six thousand crore will be allocated for it.  Loan facility will be provided by 220 urban co-operative banks, 18 district co-operative banks and credit societies.  The term of the loan will be up to 3 years.

(3) In order to provide more financial relief to the small and medium businesses / shops / industries of the State by the State Government, April / April Electricity to all LT Electricity Connected Businesses / Shops / Industries of all the Electricity Distribution Companies of the State which are closed or running during load down. Minimum charge in bill i.e. Demand | Exemption from payment of Fixed Charges will be billed only according to the usage made by him.
