ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI ANURAG SINGH THAKUR).

(a) The Economic Survey 2018 - 19 did not recommend an increase the retirement age for employees for 70 years.  It simply highlighted the experience of other major countries.
(b) Does not arise.
(C) Presently, there is no proposal in the Government to fix the retirement age of government employees as 60 years or 33 years of service, whichever is earlier.

This important decision has been taken after deliberations on the loss of farmers' crops due to rain at a meeting of the state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani, at Gandhinagar today.  According to the Central Government's Calimity Relief Fund, where crop loss is more than 33%, there is an increase of Rs.  13,500 and per hectare in non-irrigated crops.  6,800 assistance will be paid.  Shri Patel added that due to heavy rains and deficient rains in the state this year, heavy rains during the months of July - August - September in some districts of the state as well as the loss of farmers' crop during the end of October and first week of November started immediately.  That is nearing perfection.

Apart from this, the state government has also decided to assist farmers in the loss of farmers' crop in the short-term rainfall survey, but the loss is less than 33%. It is worth mentioning here that more than 4 lakh farmers were given Rs.  700 crores will be provided with central and state government assistance. In addition, farmers who take out insurance under the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme will get separate benefits as per the guidelines of crop insurance scheme.
