Ministry of Home Affairs / Bhartiya Gruh Mantralaya has given detailed guidelines for the celebration of Independence Day 2021. According to which the details of how to celebrate State Level, District Level, Sub Division / Block Level, Panchayat and Village level and keeping in mind the social distance at that time are explained in detail.


Independence Day Celebration Level
Every year in India, Independence Day is celebrated with grandeur, nobility, enthusiasm and fervor. This year 2020 Independence Day will also be celebrated grandly and properly. But, given the Covid-19 epidemic at this time, there are a few special things to keep in mind for Independence Day celebrations. Such as - when organizing various events or activities, social distance between people is maintained, masks are worn, sanitation is done as required, large crowds do not gather, some such preventive measures must be followed.

For this, all the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have been published. The guidelines are to be followed and celebrated accordingly. The details are as follows.

State Level Celebration
Singing the National Anthem with a ceremony in the morning (after 9:00 AM) in the States / UTs waving the National Flag at the hands of the Chief Minister.
To organize the speech by the Chief Minister along with the guards including police force, para-military forces, homeguards, NCC, scouts, etc. and the national anthem to be sung in accordance with its rules. Maintaining social distance during this time also requires compassion.

Also Covid-19 fighters can invite Covid-19 warriors like doctors, health workers, hygiene workers, etc. for their noble service. Apart from this some people who have recovered from Kovid-19 infection can also be invited to celebrate in their collaboration

District Level Celebration
At the district level, a national flag can be hoisted by a Minister / Commissioner / District Magistrate for celebrations. And there also to organize the speech by the Chief Minister and the singing of the national anthem as per its rules with the guards including police force, para-military forces, homeguards, NCC, scouts, etc. Maintaining social distance during this time also requires compassion.

At the district level also Covid-19 fighters can invite Covid-19 warriors like doctors, health workers, sanitation workers, etc. for their noble service. Apart from this some people who have recovered from Kovid-19 infection can also be invited to celebrate in their collaboration

Sub Division / Block Level Celebration
The national flag can be hoisted by the Minister / Sub-Divisional Magistrate for celebrations at block or taluka level. May organize a talk or event about the significance of August 15th. Maintaining social distance during this time also requires compassion.

Even at the taluka or block level, Kovid-19 fighters should invite Kovid-19 warriors like doctors, health workers, sanitation workers, etc. for their noble service. Awareness can be taken to the local people. But keep in mind that it does not happen like big crowds or gatherings

Panchayat / Village Level Celebration
The village head / sarpanch hoists the national flag at 9.00 am and plays the national anthem. The village head / sarpanch organized a speech or program on the importance of 15th August and explained the importance of India's integrity. Maintaining social distance during this time also requires compassion.




To invite the Kovid-19 fighters of the village to the Kovid-19 warriors like doctors, health workers, sanitation workers, etc. for their noble service. Awareness can be taken to the local people. But keep in mind that it does not happen like big crowds or gatherings
