Subject: Regarding the closure of Vidyalakshmi Bond Scheme implemented from the academic year 2007-2008. Reference: Resolution No. of the Education Department: PRE / 1903/4 / K, dated 19/06/2071 Regarding the above subject, to state that, with the resolution dated 17/06/2021

under the reference of the Education Department, Yojana ”should be implemented from the year 2020-21, the number of beneficiary girls in the state should not be doubled and for the purpose of benefiting the girls of the state on a large scale, it has been decided to close Vidyalakshmi Bond Yojana from 01/04/2021, a copy of the resolution is attached herewith.
With this in mind, this office will not have to send the requested information about Vidyalakshmi Bond from the letter dated 12/06/2021, and also the students who have passed Std. 8 this year are asked to take care that the maturity amount of their bond is paid to them immediately.
