Matter of counting five years service of fixed salary employees for the benefit of higher pay scale Gujarat Financial Department. As per your letter dated 22/10/2020 regarding the above subject, as per the order, only the employees appointed as per the fixed salary policy of the Finance Department dated 16/02/2006 are entitled to the benefit of the resolution of the Finance Department dated 18/01/2017. .
Employees appointed under the fixed salary policy of other department before the fixed salary policy dated 16/02/2006 are not entitled to the benefit of the resolution dated 18/01/2017. This has to be approved separately by the government.
Only those departments which have got approval through the Finance Department of the State Government for the employees appointed before their fixed salary policy dated 16/02/2006, are entitled to the benefit of the resolution dated 18/01/2017.
The Office of the Director of Accounts and Treasury has to take action as per the existing rules, higher pay scale and other benefits.
